Gorgeous building with picturesque gardens and comfortable rooms. Our host was absolutely wonderful and so helpful, giving us great tips for the town and sorting out our laundry. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and lake. Everything about my stay at Villa La Rosa was outstanding! Marco and Andrea were the most friendly, helpful, kind and professional hosts any guest could ask for. They were available anytime and easily contacted for requests (an afternoon espresso, ice, luggage storage, etc) which they immediately provided. While providing delicious breakfasts every morning on your room patio, they were happy to give recommendations on the area. I was offered a delicious home made lasagna meal for one evening, which was a welcome reprieve from busy restaurants in town. The villa is a short downhill walk to Bellagio, via one of two beautiful cobble footpaths. The pool with an amazing view of the lake and mountains was perfect to cool off after the warm walk uphill back to the villa, and one afternoon I was greeted by Andrea with a poolside glass of of local rose. The rooms are spacious, cool, and well appointed with fridges, tea, cutlery and wine openers to help with simple self catering. A grocer is a short walk away. I would stay again in a heartbeat and can’t give enough praise to Marco, Andrea and family for such a well run and beautiful B&B!
