The street begins at Via San Alessandro, which leads directly to the Giacomo Gate to the Citta Alta, about a 30-minute walk. Going down the street the other way Via San Bernardino leads to Bergamo's exceptionally handsome public library; the first-floor interior offers children's books on one side and travel books on the other, looking out onto a garden that can be entered from the library. the hotel's laundry service did a lovely job and took about two days. staff were very warm and helpful.--and they seemed to have a system whereby the maids were alerted when one came to breakfast so that on returning to the room after breakfast, one found that the room had been made up.

The location of this beautiful BnB is a breathtaking. We loved the historic village, and the historic property we stayed in. This has certainly been one of our favourite stays to date. Rooms are very very clean, property is lovely. Breakfast was very nice and our host was lovely. The drive to the car park, & the short walking path that leads to the village adds to the adventure and the sense of history. We loved it here.

Extremely clean and modern room with a good shower and bathroom. You could have had a family of three there, so the price would have been extremely reasonable per person. I paid a little over $100 US on my own.

The hostess - Manuela - was very hospitable and nice, helped us a lot to find sup board rental nearby and was very friendly and nice. I hope I will come back to this place, as it totally feels like paradise!
