He knows some English (he knows more English than I know Italian haha) and who I think was his daughter was there during check-in to help and be our translator. She was also very kind and helpful! The bed was very comfortable. The room was HUGE and has working AC - very important for the Italian summer! They provided a list of recommended local restaurants and gave information on Civita di Bagnoregio. The B&B is only a 10 minute walk from the access bridge to Civita di Bagnoregio - a must see!! Absolutely stunning!! The accommodation is right in the heart of the historic part of the city. It is a calm, peaceful, and beautiful town. I didn’t want to leave! As a solo female with a child, we felt very safe in the B&B and in the town. The owner offered us a ride back into Orvieto at a cheaper rate than a taxi because the day we left there were no buses running.

There was also a beautiful roof garden which overlooked the lake from where you could you could watch the sunset. There were cafes and restaurants very close at hand. We would definitely stay again.
