The owner is the kindest older Italian man. He made us feel comfortable and welcome! He knows some English (he knows more English than I know Italian haha) and who I think was his daughter was there during check-in to help and be our translator. She was also very kind and helpful! The bed was very comfortable. The room was HUGE and has working AC - very important for the Italian summer! They provided a list of recommended local restaurants and gave information on Civita di Bagnoregio. The B&B is only a 10 minute walk from the access bridge to Civita di Bagnoregio - a must see!! Absolutely stunning!! The accommodation is right in the heart of the historic part of the city. It is a calm, peaceful, and beautiful town. I didn’t want to leave! As a solo female with a child, we felt very safe in the B&B and in the town. The owner offered us a ride back into Orvieto at a cheaper rate than a taxi because the day we left there were no buses running.

The former papal residence of Rocca dei Papi is a 4-minute walk away.... The location was excellent, the room was quite spacious and very clean. Room also had everything you need.

Locate a 10-minute walk from the shores of Bolsena, rooms at VesConte B&B are elegantly furnished, and some boast exposed-beam ceilings. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. It is just amazing! Why to visit museum if you can live there!😂 all is very convenient: shower, bed etc. I mean you must stay here!

The hosts were wonderful and helped us manage a difficult situation when the trains were cancelled. We gave very short notice for the reservation, late in the evening, and they were very helpful and welcoming. It is a shame we could only stay one night.
