Nestled among cypress-lined pathways, its entrance alone sets the tone for a serene and picturesque escape. Surrounded by its own vineyard and olive orchards, the property offers breathtaking views and a true taste of Tuscany. The restaurant overlooks the sunset, making every dinner a memorable experience. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are generously sized, adding to the comfort of the stay. One of our favourite features was the pool set amidst olive trees—a peaceful spot to relax, read, and watch the kids play. The pool is open from morning to late evening. I was able to swim quite a few laps as well. With fewer rooms than large resorts, the atmosphere is calm, clean, and never overcrowded. The villa produces its own wine and olive oil, and the staff are incredibly polite and courteous. A special mention goes to Giona, who went above and beyond to make our stay special, especially for my husband’s 40th birthday. The food was outstanding—freshly prepared and full of flavour. The pasta with tomato and aubergine was hands down the best we’ve ever had. For a potato lover like me, the roast potatoes were amazingly seasoned and soooo good. We tried every dessert on the menu, and each one was exceptional. Their house-baked biscotti was a lovely treat too. Breakfast was just right—a mix of sweet items, boiled eggs, cereals, cheese, bread, coffee, and juices. It was perfect for making a quick sandwich and starting the day without needing to venture out early. Our kids especially loved the sweet options! The villa’s location also makes it easy to explore nearby towns like Montepulciano and Siena, which is just about 1 hour and 15 minutes away. This stay was everything we hoped for and more—peaceful, scenic, and full of warmth. We would return in a heartbeat.

Amazing location in one of the most beautiful towns we have ever visited. Silvia had all the local information on check in and we were sorry we missed breakfast first morning as it was an amazing with a big selection of hot and cold foods. Kiara and Elisha were a great help with a young baby at breakfast! We’ll be back

Borgo Poggiardelli was our best and most stunning accomodation so far. Everything is perfect and beautiful. The staff was very kind and responsive, the apartment Melograno was comfortable and well-equipped. The pool area is gorgeous as well as the neighborhood. The location is perfect for exploring Montepulciano, Siena, Cortona and the other nice Tuscan cities.

We requested to adjust our trip and he had availability to accommodate our request. The location was excellent, with scenic views of the valley. It is a fenced-in yard inside a beautiful olive tree grove, so we could let our dog run around and explore. The host is very accommodating of pets and children. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner and the room met all our needs. We would stay here again if we visited the area.

Staff being so nice from the minute we arrived 'til the moment we left. Premium standard of facilities and apartment, can't say nothing else about the outdoor area with the pool, jacuzzi and the view. Even the wine tasting with Mario was great, such a good and fun host! I'm already longing to come back to Terra Antica!

Siena is 39 km from the property, while Arezzo is 47 km away. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. This is the best place we've stayed in Italy (we've been to Rome, Positano, Venice, Varenna, Florence and here). Everything, from start to finish, was otherworldly. Starting with the baffling views, the amazing pool (lovely, and recently built), the great breakfast and the house-like accommodations. We had a full living room, with modern tvs both in living room and bedroom, great country-side decorations and amazing taste. The place is a bastion for peace, quiet, introspection and rest. Marco helped us trying to make our best of the time we were in Pienza, with great all around advice of the area. We also tasted their wines, which are amazing. I honestly think this place was as close as I've been to heaven on earth (everything from the view, place and people here)

It was much better than it looks in the pictures. It was such a peaceful and wonderful place. The friendly staff, delicious food and wine, everything was perfect.
