Set among the red dunes of Wadi Rum, Hasan Zawaideh Camp offers private and shared Bedouin-style tents and an excellent location to explore the Jordanian Desert.

Hasan Zawaideh’s staff organise jeep and camel trips to admire the Seven Pillars of Wisdom. They offer a special tour which follows the route of Lawrence of Arabia invading Aqaba. The facility is at the entrance of Wadi rum, so it is easy to get there by a car. Manager Hassan is a great guy with a sense of humor. All the staff are very nice. Food is good taste. We enjoyed the stay and the jeep tour.

Providing city views, Wadi Rum Candles Camp in Wadi Rum features accommodation, an open-air bath and a garden. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also has a restaurant and an outdoor fireplace. The campground also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. I recently stayed at this camp in Wadi Rum and it was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had. The setting was absolutely magical—surrounded by dramatic sandstone mountains, endless desert views, and the kind of silence that makes you feel completely at peace. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming us with traditional tea and treating us like family throughout our stay. The tents were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly cozy for the desert nights. Dinner was a highlight—freshly cooked Zarb (Bedouin barbecue) served under the stars, followed by stories and music by the campfire. We also did a jeep tour that took us through breathtaking sites, from natural rock bridges to ancient petroglyphs. Our guide was local and passionate, sharing the culture and history of Wadi Rum in a way that made everything come alive. If you’re looking for an authentic, warm, and soul-refreshing desert experience, I highly recommend this camp. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The quiet Bedouin camp is located next to Um Sabattah, the most famous place in the area to see the sunset, a 9KM into the desert from Rum Village. The peaceful, beautiful setting is the perfect base for your visit to Wadi Rum. From the friendly and humorous staff to the breathtaking scenery and excellent facilities, this was truly an exceptional experience! Even though our schedule was tight, the guide was very helpful and managed to give us a tour around before sunset. We had great traditional and filling meals and spent the night in warm tents sheltered from the elements. 10s across the board, the photos don't do it justice.
