Set among the red dunes of Wadi Rum, Hasan Zawaideh Camp offers private and shared Bedouin-style tents and an excellent location to explore the Jordanian Desert.

Hasan Zawaideh’s staff organise jeep and camel trips to admire the Seven Pillars of Wisdom. They offer a special tour which follows the route of Lawrence of Arabia invading Aqaba. You can drive to the camp. Hasan is very hospitable. Everyone speaks English well. Dinner was excellent, and breakfast was delicious. Upon arrival, we were offered desert tour, which were interesting. The driver was also the guide and our personal photographer — we especially liked that we had a private tour as a couple. The Martian-style tent we stayed in was number 10 in the first row. It was very comfortable and spacious, the bathroom was excellent, and everything was clean when we arrived. Each tent has its own terrace. At night, the stars are beautifully visible both from the terrace and inside the tent. The sunrise was lovely. Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 5 AM. The whole camp is well arranged and nicely lit.

The quiet Bedouin camp is located next to Um Sabattah, the most famous place in the area to see the sunset, a 9KM into the desert from Rum Village. The peaceful, beautiful setting is the perfect base for your visit to Wadi Rum. All magnificent. The camp, the food, the 4x4 jeep tour, the staff all was fantastic. Thank you for the experience, we will always remember that !

Guests at the campsite can enjoy a continental breakfast.

Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp offers a children's playground, Jeep tours, Camel ride, and Hiking. The view is outstanding and the facilities are beautiful. We particularly loved the rain shower. The food is just delicious and the managers went out of their way to assist us with anything we needed.

With an à la carte and buffet restaurant, SunCity Camp is located in Wadi Rum. It features a coffee shop and a 24-hour front desk.

Tents include a dining area and a private entrance. The bathroom is fitted with a bathtub or a shower. My friend and I booked the martian room and it did not disappoint! Our tour guide had booked us at a different camp but we chose to book this one ourselves and am so happy we did. The room was perfect and super cool. Sultan the owner welcomed us and was very personable. The breakfast and dinner buffet were delicious with lots of options. I am vegetarian and had plenty to choose from. One of the best parts of our stay was sitting on our deck and star gazing. It was magical! FYI many of the camps in Wadi Rum do not serve alcoholic beverages but they did have non alcohol beer.

Located in the protected area of Wadi Rum, this authentic Bedouin camp is surrounded by orange-coloured rock mountains. Salman Zwaidh offers private and shared tents, and free breakfast is served daily. I was traveling alone and the only guest in the camp during my stay due to off season. I chose the bubble one for 2 nights. 1. The tour driver was very friendly that showed me as much as he could, like a friend bringing you around and not like customer relations caring the money/time 2. The food was awesome, even though I am the one guest, they still prepared multiples dishes buffet 3. The location no double is one of the top camp there, no other camps around and wide -opened view, yeah including the sunrise view from your room 4.No forcing buying services at all nor forcing writing reviews 5. The bubble room is clean, warm, big comfortable bed. I stayed during winter time so didn’t have the problem that will be too hot to stay in the room. Limited AC during night time but not that cold actually and there should be other camps that can use AC 24/7 but of course double/triple price, cause they have to use fuel generators for AC 6. WiFi surprisingly accessible inside the room I chose which is the farthest one from common area that router located
