Open from March 2015, Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae is just a 4-minute walk from Sakae and Fushimi subway stations. All guests can enjoy the natural hot spring bath on site. Dormy Inn is great. Never been disappointed. Onsen was great, central location so it was easy to get around, and staff were nice and helpful. The night time soba is always a treat and free yogurt and ice cream is also a nice touch.

Directly connected to JR Nagoya Station, the Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel offers an indoor swimming pool and a fitness centre with workout machines at a charge, 8 restaurants and free WiFi. The room was quite luxurious and offered a very good view of Nagoya city.

Offering Western and Chinese restaurants, Hotel Associa Toyohashi is right next to JR Toyohashi Shinkansen (Bullet Train) Station. The modern rooms have a flat-screen TV and free wired internet. Great location, easy access to the train station. Clean hotel and rooms. Great sound proofing (couldn't hear our friends next door), easy check in and check out.

Located 2 km from JR Nagoya Station, Hotel Trusty Nagoya Shirakawa is conveniently located above a shopping mall. Rooms are air-conditioned, with free WiFi access and a private bathroom with bathtub. I accidentally booked a smoking room instead of a non-smoking room and I was dreading my night's sleep. When I entered the room the smoke smell was almost unnoticeable. I had an amazing stay at this hotel and the staff were exceptional. The beds are very comfortable also, so getting up In the morning was hard work.

I booked it as a budget option and turned out to be better than I expected. They definitely deserve an additional star on booking. The lobby is great, the room is small, but clean and well equipped. The staff is lovely and its such a short walk to the main train station. The breakfast was the best part. The hotel has deal with a restaurant in the same building - its this delicious, Japanese breakfast. I stayed at mostly 4-5 star hotels throughout my 3 week trip - this was hands down the best breakfast I had during my trip!
