Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! We love the Miyajima guest house, the staff was super friendly, the location was great, the common areas were beautiful! We also really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. Overall the only negative was that we only stayed one night, would love to come back and stay at least two nights in the future. ❤️

The staff was exceptional, they literally made it feel like we were coming home every time we walked through the doors! The dinner and breakfast service were wonderful, delicious, and unique. A stunning sunrise from the hillside (guest house) and mountain top (temple). Restored old house, warmth, love for detail, coupled with functionality. Not to be missed !

Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire building. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 15-minute walk away. All the staff is very friendly. Breakfast was very tasty . I recommend it all.

Guests can relax in the indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths and request for massages. A free shuttle is available from Miyajima Ferry Terminal, which is also a 5-minute walk away. Fantastic location right next to the Rooney to get up the top of Mt Misen. Very authentic and truely lovely. We stayed for one night and throughly enjoyed the island

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. The hotel offers a restaurant and Japanese-style rooms with free wired internet access. Oh, Iroha…. Where do I begin? We were greeted by the friendliest and kindest front desk staff, both of the ladies were extremely welcoming and helpful. They asked about our dinner plans and book us a table at a wonderful place. As this was the first place in Japan with Onsen that we stayed at we were explained how to prepare and what are the rules. We went there in the late evening, it was empty and from the outside bath you could enjoy the amazing views of Itsikushima Shrine, just magical! Also we were given a free upgrade to queen suite which we did not expect at all and it was incredible. I could not recommend enough this place and staying at Miyajima Island over night in general. You can’t fully experience the unique charm and beauty of this place by coming just for few hours. Come for a night or two and stay at Iroha, I can guarantee it will be a highlight of your Japan trip! Thank you for having us!

The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle with green tea bags. All rooms have a private toilet, and some have shared bathroom facilities. Location was excellent. The View from my room was marvelous. The room was specious for a solo traveler. Really recommend this hotel.

Onomichi Guest House Anago-no-Nedoko provides beds in shared dorm rooms, a 5-minute walk from Senkou-ji Ropeway Station. It offers free Wi-Fi and a free-use internet PC. Guests can wash laundry at a fee, while the shared kitchen offers free tea and coffee. Anago-no-Nedoko is a very cozy and atmospheric guesthouse. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed exploring every corner of this marvellous house. The people working there were super kind and helpful. The breakfast was super tasty and we got a dry spot to store our bicycles. Big recommendation for everyone visiting Onomichi!
