Staff was amazing and hospitable. We selected the breakfast to be included and it exceeded our expectations. It made our experience!

Situated in Yakushima, within 8.4 km of Shiratani Unsuikyo and 36 km of Yakusugi Land, Wa no Cottage Sen-no-ie features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The 3-star guest house is less than 1 km from Scuba Diving Ever Blue Yakushima. The guest house has family rooms. The whole area is just wonderful and a great starting point for exploring the island. We stayed in a spacious wooden cabin with out own kitchenette and toilet, and we had our own private bathroom with a bath that comfortably fits one person and uncomfortably two. :)) The accommodation is in walking distance from few restaurants and bus stops, but also hidden away in the nature, close to a river. The owner is very nice and hospitable and even picked us up in the city when we first arrived. We had a great time!

Perfectly located with a view of Sakurajima, just 10 minutes from the Sakurajima ferry, aquarium, and the high-speed boat terminal to Yakushima. It’s also around 15 minutes on foot from Tenmonkan and the lively bar and izakaya streets. The rooms are spacious, extremely clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent – with both traditional Japanese and Western options to choose from. Highly recommended to everyone – we only wish we could have stayed longer!

GREAT Location, Sakurajima view from the room (!!), breakfast, well maintained and organised hotel.
