Beautiful hotel with a stunning view of Sakurajima. The staff were kind and friendly. Amazing selection of foods at breakfast. The onsen was fabulous. Excellent hotel shuttle bus into the city.

At Cottage Morinokokage, guests can rent out a cottage with a hammock. Free WiFi is available in the guest rooms. We spent six nights at the property. The host was friendly and welcoming, providing us with a brief tour when we arrived. Our cottage was a suite featuring two beds and a private bathroom. The property was clean and well-maintained. The shared laundry facilities, on-site vending machines, shoes drier were very convenient and useful.

Overlooking Kagoshima Bay, Hakusuikan boasts an outdoor pool and a variety of spacious indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths, including a Sunamushi sand hot-spring. This hotel was a very nice surprise. Our room was exceptional - a very spacious, luxurious room with four different areas. The entry way to our room as well as the furnishings in the room were beautiful. It was a great place to relax. The view from our windows was magnificent! Our dinner was very delicious and filling. The breakfast was also very good. The hot sand bath - sunamushi sakaba - was a new, great experience for us. The onsen area is very large and clean, a nice place to soak after a long day. If you go, enjoy the bar located by the onsen - it's free to hotel guests and the bartender was very kind.

Featuring open-air hot spring baths and a sauna, Fufurotenburonoyado Ginsyou is located a 4-minute drive from Ibusuki Station. Beautiful hotel that conveyed the essence of the culture and the layout of the room was perfect. Staff was amazing and hospitable. We selected the breakfast to be included and it exceeded our expectations. It made our experience!

Just steps away from Asahidori Tram Stop, Richmond Hotel Kagoshima Kinseicho features comfortable guestrooms, free property-wide Wi-Fi and a breakfast. The hotel room for 3 people was big and the beds were comfortable. We parked at the hotel for 1000 yen per night. We walked to Tenmonkan, which was nearby. There was also a convenience store across the hotel.

A 5-minute walk from Takami Baba Tram Station, Hotel Lexton Kagoshima offers accommodation with free WiFi access and a flat-screen cable TV. Very clean and respectful staff. There are no women onsen or sauna but they offered bedrock bath which was excellent. Good access to the trams and tenmonkan area too.

Opened in 2012, Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Kagoshima is just a 2-minute walk from JR Kagoshima-Chuo Train Station and features a French restaurant and massage services. Perfect location, parking possible(11k per day). Nice interior, feels premium.

Boasting a 13th-floor hot-spring bath overlooking Kagoshima Bay, French and Japanese restaurants and a 24-hour reception, Sun Royal Hotel is 15 minutes from JR Kagoshima-Chuo Train Station on the free... Well kept, nice design. Enjoyed Geoff helping us with our bags.
