Amazing hotel, a real roykan with an amazing staff that will help with whatever you need. We even got a dvd and watched movies!! And when it rained they waited for us with umbrellas. Felt like a princess 😍

Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei ligger 10 minutters gang fra det livlige Kawaramachi-kvarter og byder på indkvartering i japansk stil med moderne faciliteter og traditionelt design. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a pretty good location with lots of restaurants nearby. 10-12 mins walk from bus stop or train station which is reasonable. Shower was good and futon bed comfortable. There's a lounge area where you can have food and chat.

Opening in March 2014, Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shinmachi Bettei offers accommodations with a modern yet traditional décor. Hotel was so nice and cosy. Staff were very welcoming and very helpful. Super clean environment. Very convenient to go to Tran stations. A fantastic place stay in Kyoto.

Kyoto Century Hotel ligger kun 2 minutters gang fra Kyoto Station og har værelser med aircondition og gratis internetadgang. Hotellet har 3 spisemuligheder og massagebehandlinger. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. Very big rooms! The dinner buffet was really good!! It is not a regular buffet but kinda ‘high class buffet’. Very good! It was raining when we arrived, at the check-in the personnel began to dry off our wet luggage. Top service!

I stayed at this wonderful ryokan during my trip to Kyoto, and I’m still deeply impressed! This is a truly authentic Edo-period style ryokan, with a serene and cozy atmosphere that beautifully preserves Japanese tradition. Everything—from the interiors to the hot baths—radiates a deep respect for cultural heritage. I want to especially thank the staff. I accidentally left a valuable piece of jewelry in the bath and had nearly accepted that it was lost. But the staff not only found it—they contacted me and kindly mailed it to my hotel in Tokyo. I was genuinely touched by their honesty, care, and attention. This place became more than just accommodation—it became a special memory of my journey in Japan. I will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly Japanese experience and heartfelt hospitality. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Hotel Okura's elegant rooms boast spectacular views of Kyoto against the backdrop of the Higashiyama Mountains. The best hotel in kyoto to be honest and its very close to touristy streets. I will definitely not go to any hotel if i went to kyoto again. The in room dining food was yummy. The staff are very friendly as well.
