And end your day at the iconic bar where John Lennon entertained those gathered on that piano when he stayed here.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Our room was gorgeous and massive, with two beds and Tatami area. The baths upstairs were amazing, the authentic Japanese meals, dinner and breakfast were amazing and the presentation was 10/10 at the tatami tables. The staff were lovely and we loved the robes we were given, they thought of absolutely everything for us. The fact you have access to other baths too is great, can’t recommend this place enough!

A small 6-room inn with Ryokan meals and cosy interiors, Yasuragi is just a few minutes drive to Jigokudani Monkey Park and an 8-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station. Hot-spring baths are featured.... The location of the hotel is easy to find and the owner's grandparents are very friendly. The dinners and breakfasts served are extremely sophisticated and delicious, and the tableware is as fine as art, which complements the exquisite decor in every corner of the hotel. The onsen is spacious, clean and comfortable, especially the large ones, with beautiful views, which are perfect for the whole family. In addition, in the morning, Grandpa personally drove us to the Snow Monkey Park, his driving skills are very good! We forgot the items in the room's refrigerator, Grandpa also specially with our luggage to help us bring to the station. Many thanks to the family for their hospitality. I have highly recommended this hot spring hotel to my friends, if they come to Yutanaka, they must choose this hotel.

A 5-minute drive from National Treasure Matsumoto Castle, Ryokan Seifuso is next to Shinshu University and boasts a view of the Northern Alps and the freshness of the Metoba River. We’ve been staying at Seifuso for over 15 years. Fabulous hosts and excellent location. Their breakfast is something my children talk about and dream about. Highly recommended!
