The Nara Visitor Center and Inn is situated in the heart of Nara, just a 3-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple and Naramachi. The Todai-ji Temple and Deer Park are a 10-minute stroll away, while Nara Station on the Kintetsu Line is a 7-minute walk. JR Nara Station is 14-minutes away on foot. So far, this has been the highlight of our trip to Japan! The hotel is amazing — beautifully located with stunning views, and full of charm. There are plenty of free activities to enjoy, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved our stay in the traditional Japanese room; it was such a special experience and we honestly regret not booking more nights. The onsen was a wonderful bonus, and having a konbini attached to the hotel was super convenient. Nara itself is a magical place, and staying here made it even better. Highly recommended!

This 2-star guest house offers luggage storage space and bicycle parking. The guest house features family rooms. Very charming and traditional guesthouse. The host is very kind, welcoming, accommodating, and attentive and it is very clean.

Kotono yado Musashino offers accommodation in Nara, and is located a 11-minute drive from Nara Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. This felt like less of a hotel stay and more of an experience as a whole. If you are exploring Nara I would recommend taking at least a day to just enjoy this hotel stay. We were greeted by extremely friendly staff who helped us with every little thing, from taking our luggage to ordering a taxi for our departure. We were served luxurious meals for dinner and breakfast in our room, by staff who set our table and made our bed. The location was magical with beautiful nature and deers roaming around outside. They had an amazing natural hot spring bath as well. Would warmly recommend this place.

Amenities include a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fridge and toiletries. Guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding, and the rooms come with an all-wooden bathroom. Everything exceptional, with big care for every single guest. One of my top rated places, where i stayed. I can just say - Thank you for all!

Each air-conditioned room includes a seating area, a fridge and flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The bathroom comes with free toiletries. The front desk staff were SUPERIOR, the room was beyond our expectations. Located in the heart of NARA, it was a short walk to all of the attractions and downtown shopping/restaurant area. I can't say enough about the superior level of customer care we experienced and wish I could remember her name to give her credit directly.

The accommodation facility of Gyokuzoin Temple features a hot public bath. The hotel is located in Mount Shigisan and houses a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. Parking is available at extra charge. WiFi is available in all guest rooms. We stayed one night and enjoyed it very much: delicious dinner and breakfast (Japanese style sets), traditional Japanese-style rooms, lovely onsen, and of course the ceremony in the morning. Would definitely recommend going here if a temple stay is on the bucket list. After dinner (and in the morning), one can wander around the temple area, which is very nice because no other people except the guests staying overnight are around.

It is set 20 km from Iwafune Shrine and provides a lift. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station.

Guests can also relax in the shared lounge area. It’s clean, and conveniently accessible to the main attractions in Nara. The food is great too, not to mention the friendly and helpful staff.

The area is popular for cycling and hiking, and bike hire is available at this 2-star guest house. An indoor play area is also available at the guest house, while guests can also relax in the garden. We really loved to stay here. Lovely host, nice area and a really comfortable and cozy room.
