The staff are very friendly, it is right next to Dogo onsen. I came late and had a top bunk, I was offered a bottom for my second night, however I got back late again and they were all taken. Bit then, I was offered a private room. Lovely. Also the private room had the most comfortable bed I have slept on in 4.5 we eks in Japan. So if you are sick of sleeping on the hard japanese beds, give this place a try.

Staying at this hotel for 2 nights was one of the highlights of our trip. Our room was comfortable and very spacious, the meals were exceptional, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the hot spring facility is amazing with fabulous views across the valley. The local scenery is breathtaking. Great value for money!

A 15-minute walk from JR Kotohira Station, Kotohira Kadan offers natural hot spring baths and spacious Japanese-style rooms, some with a private outdoor hot spring bath. Stunning property, with spacious, clean rooms that were well-equipped. We loved our outdoor bath and the view of the town from our room. Great location - a short walk to Konpira Grand Theatre and the main shrine in Kotohira, Konpira-san. Both are a must-visit. Tasty, traditional Japanese-style breakfast. We would love to return.

The staff are so polite and kind, they even has our room prepared with our bags we stored. The price was also very fair.

JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu features 7 dining options, free WiFi while certain rooms feature panoramic sea and city views, a 1-minute stroll from JR Takamatsu Station. We were staying in traditional- styled room, enjoyed experience a lot, sleeping on a futon was super comfy, very nice smell of wood?bamboo? Probably coming from tatami. Soothing music was available as a background, eating table also available. And bathtub was huge, enjoyed that a lot too

We booked the Japanease style room. The room was a little small for 3 people, but the futons were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean. AC works fine. Breakfast was very good.

Only a 1-minute walk from the famous Dogo Onsen, Hotel Patio Dogo offers modern accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Everything. It is an amazing hotel, with great location, right in front of the onsen. The staff are very nice and they speak english. I think it was the best ved I have slept in while in Japan.
