For us, it was the most authentic Japan experience that we have had. Very nice and helpful staff. The location in the mountains was also very. Dinner was special and the breakfast buffet expansive & varied.

It offers free Wi-Fi throughout the propert and free parking is on-site. Wonderful hotel! All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The twin beds are firm and the bedding was nice and warm for winter. The bathroom in the room is compact and functional, and there was the option of the private bath downstairs. The food was outstanding- the taste and presentation was incredible! Be prepared for a full stomach as everything was delicious! The breakfast rice bowl (plus the other dishes) was the best way to start the day, and coming back in the evenings for a home cooked meal was very relaxing and special. I hope to come back one day.

The views are one of the best I’ve ever seen! The onsen views are breathtaking. We also booked the private bath and it was perfect! We only had traditional breakfast and it was divine. We loved every minute of our stay here! We’ll definitely be back! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Free private parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Nakanosakae Station is a 5-minute drive or a 20-minute walk from Dormy Inn EXPRESS Sendai Seaside. Very good hotel in a strange location, in the middle of an industrial estate. There is a train service but it is about a 30 mins walk there. Some really good facilities, breakfasts were really good mainly Japanese, remember to have bare feet.

Great view looking out over the train station. Very comfortable room with great bathroom facilities!

Although the hotel is right next to the station, noise wasn't an issue at all. I would highly recommend Hotel Metropolitan if you're looking for a hotel in Akita.

The hotel was in a great location within walking distance from A-factory, Aomori station, bus stops, shinmachi Street, Museum and numerous restaurants.
