Free Wi-Fi is provided at the lounge. The building was lovely, right on the canal, historic, clean, nice facilities, onsen was lovely, staff were attentive, approachable and kind.

There is a coffee shop, and a minimarket is also available. The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in.

Guests can also relax in the shared lounge area. Amazing experience. the food is delicious and the ocean view is magnificent. The staffs are all really friendly and polite. We got up early and watched sunrise from our room:)

The owners were very nice and kind, they picked us up from the station and on the next day after check out they helped us to get to Omura mountain.

Went above and beyond to allow us to make it for dinner even though weather made driving there difficult.

Amazing place with amazing food and room. The staff were really nice and welcoming! Thank you for the great stay!

Each room at this ryokan is air conditioned and comes with a flat-screen TV. Some rooms include a seating area where you can relax. You will find a kettle in the room. Rooms include a private bathroom with a bath and shower, with slippers, free toiletries and a hair dryer provided. The room was very clean and the beds already prepared for the night. The small table had kettle and tea which came in useful. The sitting room had an amazing view on the room and it was very relaxing. The onsens (spas) were all beautiful and it was amazing to visit them. The breakfast was a traditional Japanese one served over the river. The food tasted delicious and it was a magnificent view. The staff extremely helpful and nice.

The property also provides free pick-up service from JR Takayama Station. Free shuttle bus service is available when check-in, check-out, after dinner. I love the house; it is cozy and beautifully designed. The breakfast options, whether Western or Japanese, were superb. The highlight of my stay was the wonderful hospitality. Tai and his parents were exceptional hosts. Tai’s restaurant recommendations were excellent, and he even made reservations for us. Although Soy is located outside of town, it’s just one bus ride away. If they're available, the hosts are more than happy to drive us to and from town.
