Very c9mfortabke stay.We lived the patio with the 2 swings, the enormous jacuzzi and plenty of hot water, the heater for the cool nights. The food was delicious both for breakfast and dinner. They gave us complimentary hot drinks at arrival and check out and many other complimentary things, will keep them a secret.:) The staff was great, polite, and smiling. The garden and flowers are pure beauty! Le Grande villa gives you a very boutique feel. They accept Visa, Mastercard incl.Revolut. It didn't work on through my phone but the physical R card worked, in case this might interest anyone. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Would prefer over the Grand, for the boutique feel.

The location was very cozy and quiet, It was very clean, hot water, and the hosts were so friendly and helpful! They give you tea on arrival and are very attentive. It was one of our favourite stays.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. Saman and his wife did everything and more to make our stay comfortable. Their food is great, breakfast in the balcony with a beautiful view is the highlight of this homestay. They arranged for a tuktuk to take us around the area and the tuktuk driver was very knowledgeable and showed us a lot of places. Don't miss an early morning walk through the tea gardens just above the homestay. Saman also helped us get train tickets to Ella which was a very difficult task considering that all tickets get sold within seconds. It was because of him that we could experience the spectacular train route! They were very warm towards our 6 yr old daughter and overall made us feel very welcome. There is a bit of climbing involved though - very typical of hill stations and nothing that a regular, averagely fit person cannot negotiate.

The towels and bed linen are clean and feel nice and fresh. The location is up the hill, not close to the city centre, but very close to tea plantations and a nice 10 min road to Gregory lake. The owner is very kind and made sure to extend our stay when we requested, as well as arrange tuk-tuks whenever we needed one. Overall one of the best stays in Sri Lanka so far, highly reccommend.

This place is absolutely immaculate. Everything and everywhere is spotlessly clean and maintained to very high standard. The room and bathroom were very well equipped and the shower was beautiful and warm. There is a lovely lounge room and outdoor area to share with the other guest (4 rooms in total). The owners are very friendly and even made us breakfast at 6:15 so we could catch an early train. It is literally a 5 minute walk to the train station so you don’t need transport.

It was one of the best stays we had in the country. Not only for the stay itself and the views of the city, but also for the gastronomic experience, as the breakfast and dinner they offer are homemade and delicious. They also offer an excellent laundry and motorbike rental service, and the whole family is lovely. In addition, with Lal you can take a tour around the city to learn many things about their history, climate and vegetation.

Tea Hills Bungalow is located in Hatton. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of this chalet. The room was super spacious, the view just great and a lovely hospitality, especially by Dayabaran. It's a very good stop over on the way to Adams Peak etc. Also there was a lovely 20 minutes walk from the accommodation to 2 little waterfalls

He was available at all times, was kind enough to make us an itinerary for our 2 days stay in Nuwara Eliya, and lastly gave us a tour of the tea plantations that were around the villa.
