The room is very spacious with a huge bathroom and the hotel is located right at the beach! Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed is very comfortable. But the best aspect of this accomodation is the owner and the hosting team who truly went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. Every single employee was always extremely friendly and considerate, they truly left a mark on us for their hospitality. We took a surfing class which was super fun and the restaurant next to the hotel serves the best coconut roti in the world.

Manthally Cabanas offers unique, handcrafted cabanas in a Jungle setting just 1.5 mile inland from the beautiful Narigama Beach and 2 miles from Hikkaduwa Beach. It was the best experience in Sri-Lanka for us😌 really good, clean and authentic place in the jungle, but still pretty close to the beaches and main street. Good thing, because it's so quiet there 🙏 We enjoyed tasty breakfasts and smoothies☺ The staff is really nice and helpful when we needed, but not annoying like in another places we stayed here❤ I recommend that place!

Located in Galle, 200 metres from Dutch Church Galle, Taru Villas - Rampart Street has an outdoor swimming pool and rooms with free WiFi access. Small boutique hotel with only four rooms. Exceptional customer service and absolutely beautiful tranquil rooms. Located within the wonderful Galle Fort, across from the ramparts and the sea. The staff here were the best in Sri Lanka (which is a big call because most of the staff we met were really good) and the breakfast was superb. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

The Galle Fort Hotel began life as an 18th Century Dutch villa and along the way has taken many guises from RAF barracks, post office, bakery, lapidary and in the recent past a pitch for the Fort’s... From the moment we arrived, the reception team greeted us with genuine warmth and professionalism, making us feel instantly at home. The Library Room was an absolute delight—elegantly furnished with plush seating, rich wood accents, and a curated collection of books. On the morning, we were treated to an exceptional breakfast spread, offering a diverse array of delicious options.

L&D Lodge is located just 100 metres from the Hikkaduwa Beach. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of the property. It provides a 24-hour front desk for the convenience of the guests. I note that I was asked to move into a building nearby the L&D Inn. L&D Inn. and L&D Lodge have a good location - close to the ocean. This is a new hotel with modern renovation, a wonderful shower, toilet, large room, beautiful view from the window, air conditioning, lots of light, hot water - everything works. It was important for me to have Wi-Fi, it’s generally ok, but there are severe slowdowns in speed, and once there was a power outage (but not for long). For a small fee, a large kitchen with a refrigerator and a gas stove for cooking is available. I would recommend visiting a nearby restaurant with European and Russian cuisine "Cool Spot", and a supermarket Sandagiri Super Market (Pvt) Ltd.

Located in Hikkaduwa, Camellia Dwelling offers tranquil and comfortable accommodation with free WiFi access throughout the property. Good location, clean and big room, also clean bathroom. Price was also cheap - around 25euros a night.

Finlanka is a hotel offering air-conditioned rooms with a balcony and free WiFi. it was the best hotel during our trip around Sri Lanka. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was large with amazing view, food delicious.

Located at the Galle Fort, Seagreen Guesthouse - Galle Fort provides affordable accommodation. Guests enjoy free WiFi access and comfortable rooms fitted with air conditioning. Everything. Best accommodation we’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka. Room was spacious and clean. Shower was HOT, which is rare for Sri Lanka. Hosts were amazing - so friendly, welcoming and made sure me and my partner were happy at all times. The food at the guesthouse is 10/10, and the cheapest we found in the fort. They also have an amazing little puppy who just completed our stay!! Would 100% recommend!!

Villa Amma Erna welcomes its guests with an outdoor pool and free internet access. It features contemporary interiors and stylish fan-cooled guestrooms. The views from the property were absolutely amazing! We could just hang out by the pool in the morning and watch the peacock and monkeys fool around which was a blast. The room was perfect with high ceilings, an abundance of natural sunlight (can shade if you want), and as clean as can be. The host and staff couldn’t have been more kind! They helped arrange rides, provided local dining options, activities to consider…pretty much you name it! The breakfast spread we had in the morning was, without question, the best we had during our trip! We couldn’t have been happier with the little time we were able to have there & we owe it all to the amazing people running it!!! ☺️
