We stayed only one night, but the place was so lovely that we would loved to stay more!! We had booked a safari, so we had to wake up 4am , and our host already had made breakfast for us to take with on Safari ride! He packed everything like your mom would, and that was such a nice surprise! The evening we arrived he offered two bikes for us to take a ride to a local restaurant and that also was just an amazing experience to ride a bike throught rice paddies and next to a huge like down to local streets! You wont regret staying here cause they really have a good service policy! BTW , this stay has a hot water!! Thats a huge pluss in Sri Lanka !

Not far from the city. Very quiet a nice place. The rooms were clean and comfortamble. The personnel was very nice and also helpful. They arranged a trip to Yala Safari for good price. We drove early but we got breakfast takeaway. When we asked for dinner they prepared it. Also they recommended to us watching bats near the lake and drove us not only there but also to the next city.

This was a beautiful getaway near Tangalle. The facilities were lovely, the whole resort was just idyllic, and the food was delicious. We wish we could have spent more time at the location! Directly on the beach, also with a gorgeous salt-water pool, lots of comfortable hammocks and bean bags to enjoy the view. The staff were also incredibly helpful and accommodating when we got sick, and went above and beyond to help us out.

The starlight cabanas are really great, and especially the dinner was one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. The cabana was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The stunning tangalle beach is only about 5 minutes from the cabanas. The host family was very friendly and courteous.

Offering a barbecue and a private beach area, Mangrove Beach Cabanas and Chalets is set in Tangalle in the Hambantota District Region. Paradise! The grounds surrounded by palm trees were unreal and it felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. Lovely shallow swimming area protected from the waves. It feels very remote and quiet in the area. Wish we were staying longer! Staff were fantastic. Kayaks for the lagoon were free to use. Room was a good size compared to others, comfy beds.
