The property has mountain and river views, and is 4.4 km from Bogambara Stadium. The homestay features family rooms. Hidden Gem in Kandy I was impressed by the view from the Property's balcony. Host was very welcoming and accommodating. Would definitely visiting again.

An easy 8 minutes ride to the city centre, but without all the hustle and bustle. Sit on the balcony, and byo your own bottle of wine. The two young lads staffing the home are absolutely awesome. They are respectful of your privacy, but always helpful and kind. Those two lads made it a really really exceptional stay for us. Delicious authentic breakfast, clean rooms, great view, and peaceful.

Bandaranaike International Airport is 127 km from the resort. I had a great stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious, and I really appreciated the free refillable water, the lovely pool, and that both the air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. There’s also a laundry service available. The location is very quiet and peaceful—just a bit further from the city center, but definitely worth it for the relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

Located in Kandy, Mountbatten Bungalow- Thema Collection - Kandy welcomes guests with an outdoor swimming pool and a spacious sun terrace. This self-catering accommodation also offers free WiFi access throughout the property. We loved everything about this place. The location was perfect, in the hills with exceptional views but only a 10-15 minute tuk tuk ride from Kandy city. The food was exceptional, with breakfast served outside in the garden and dinner inside the old manor. The service is like no other. The best I have ever experienced. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very spacious with all the amenities. We loved spending time in the infinity pool with the most magnificent views over the hills including the most beautiful gardens and birds. However, what made this place so special were the staff. Everyone (especially Chula) were so warm, welcoming and had the biggest genuine smiles on their faces. Nothing was too much for them, including arranging drivers, day tours and delivering coconuts after us spotting locals climbing coconut trees. Chamilla the driver took us on an amazing tour which included the botanical gardens, gem factory, dance show and to a dosa place in the city (Balaji Dosai - highly recommend). We had the best time and couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Hanthana Villa provides accommodation set 1.4 km from the centre of Kandy and features a garden and a shared lounge. This homestay offers free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. The homestay features family rooms. I loved the house, the hospitable host Ananda, and I loved the breakfasts and dinners cooked by Ananda's wife! HHR is located on the hill outside the city, surrounded by luscious green. I slept like a baby and listened to birds' voices. It's a pleasure to take a walk in the area. The Pekoe Trail is near by meandering along the slopes covered with tea plantations. The house and the rooms are meticulously clean and very comfortable. Ananda is eager to help and takes every measure to make your stay enjoyable. He took me around in his car and gave me his sarong to go to the Temple (you need to cover your knees). He is a very warm and supportive person.

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely house in the hills just outside Kandy. The location is quiet and surrounded by nature, with stunning views over a forest valley — the perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The house itself is modern, beautifully renovated, and very comfortable. But what really stood out was the warmth of the couple who own it. From the first moment, they made me feel truly at home — more like a guest in their home than a customer. In the morning they prepared a delicious homemade Sri Lankan breakfast. One of the highlights was the coconut rotti — absolutely incredible — along with fresh fruit and other traditional dishes. You could really taste the care they put into everything. They also went out of their way to help me when the airline delayed my baggage. They followed up and made sure it arrived safely at the house, which I really appreciated. If you’re visiting Kandy and looking for a quiet, authentic place with genuine hospitality, I can’t recommend this stay enough.

Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Mike and Krishnan were very accommodating and helpful right from the start and gave me tips on getting around too. Mike sorted out my transfers from and to the train station even though he was supposed to conduct the morning yoga session so I really appreciate his effort. There’s a yoga and meditation hall and you can use it anytime you want. The stay here was the highlight of my trip to Sri Lanka and I really hope to come back soon.
