The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. The staff were very nice , helpful and friendly. The pool is super nice. Rooms were comfortable. We would stay here again if we come back to Sri Lanka.

The view is an amazing panoramic view across the Kandy valley. The rooms were spacious, clean and well presented. The property is very nice and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was US$5pp and was a generous assortment of fruit, local cuisine, toast and a smoothie. The rooms all have a nice bathroom and proper shower (not a wet room situation like many places in Sri Lanka). We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Cách Sân vận động Bogambara 3.7 km, Hanthana House có khu vườn, phòng chờ chung, điều hòa, sân hiên và Wi-Fi miễn phí. The property was very new and clean, good attention to details and well equipped rooms, soaps and lotion. The view is amazing, it was super nice to wake up in the nature calm environment. It is a family owned house and the family is lovely and very helpful. We even went on a sunset walk with the owner, got to know him and learn about the city. Such a pleasant stay

First and foremost, the owner (Sorry, I couldn't get his name 🫣) welcomed us & showed everything in a very heartfelt manner. Facilities & cleanliness were superb. Location is so calm & during the stay, I actually had the thought of even extending the period of stay. When we go to Kandy, there are no second thoughts of choosing the same place.

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely house in the hills just outside Kandy. The location is quiet and surrounded by nature, with stunning views over a forest valley — the perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The house itself is modern, beautifully renovated, and very comfortable. But what really stood out was the warmth of the couple who own it. From the first moment, they made me feel truly at home — more like a guest in their home than a customer. In the morning they prepared a delicious homemade Sri Lankan breakfast. One of the highlights was the coconut rotti — absolutely incredible — along with fresh fruit and other traditional dishes. You could really taste the care they put into everything. They also went out of their way to help me when the airline delayed my baggage. They followed up and made sure it arrived safely at the house, which I really appreciated. If you’re visiting Kandy and looking for a quiet, authentic place with genuine hospitality, I can’t recommend this stay enough.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountain, Sanatha Suwaya is set in Kandy in the Kandy District Region, 1.6 km from Kandy Royal Botanical Gardens. Ceylon Tea Museum is 2.9 km away. The view is stunning, The bed was so comfortable (there’s an extra layer on the mattress?) I like the design of the property, makes it one of the kind in Kandy.Morning yoga on the top of the hill was refreshing.
