We loved it there.

All that within walking distance to town for bars and restaurants and to the main sightseeings.

They weren’t upset when I said the WiFi wasn’t fast enough or the eggs were too salty— they helped me fix the problems immediately and I had fast WiFi and tasty eggs! The breakfast was delicious. They also offered a tuktuk service to Polonnaruwa for a really good price. I was very happy with my stay here.

Nice and spacious and clean room. Tasty breakfast with a homey setting. But my fave was the host. Wasanthi the owner was such a nice, loving, and softspoken lady. Dinesh, his lovely wife and parents were without doubt a representative of the warmth of Sri Lankan people. It's such a gorgeous setting. We were amongst trees, birds and chipmunks. The cabin was the cleanest accommodation I've stayed in anywhere in the world. Breakfast was outstanding. We chose, she I highly recommend that anyone staying there does this, to have dinner there one night. It was the best food we have had in Sri Lanka. I would go back and I recommend without doubt to anyone who chooses this quant, warm, hospitable guesthouse.

A patio with mountain views is offered in all units. Honestly, the absolute highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka! Out of all 7 weeks in Sri Lanka our 3 nights here were the best, and it was 90% due to this Homestay!!! We felt amazingly at home! Chamika was WONDERFUL. He hiked up to pidurangula with us and brought us surprise coffee in a coconut, and didn’t ask for anything in return! We did a cooking class and ate some of the best food ever, and chamika went to swim in a lake with us! The room was as exactly as described with comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing everyday and just laying on the rock with a view of the lake was stunning! Overall if I could rate this place 1000 stars I would! Thank you guys so much!
