Also I could borrow a bike for free and I strongly recommend biking around the area among the rice fields and lakes.

This has been our favourite stay so far! The location is the absolute best if you are hoping to hike up Pidurangala and Sigiriya Rock. The bed was comfortable, the showers had hot water, the food was delish and the ladies who own and run this homestay are the sweetest and most incredible. She was our Sri Lankan Grandma and took such good care of us. Amazing food and great recommendations! You can just tell how much love and passion they have put into everything. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I cannot fault this place! The room is perfect, Dinesh went so much out of his way to ensure we had the best possible experience the three nights we were there. The breakfast was amazing (you wouldn't believe how much food!) and they even cooked us dinner one night when we were exhausted and it was one of the best meals we had in the country. I'll be back!

The family were so lovely and cooked the best dinners. They even arranged a us a tuk tuk for a sunrise walk up Pidurangala Rock as well as a Safari. They also arranged us a drive to take us to our next location.
