Set in Talalla South, 46 km from Galle, Talalla Bay Beach features a restaurant and free WiFi. Free private parking is available on site. Some rooms have views of the sea or city. Highly recommend Talalla Bay Beach! Thomas and his staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is right on the main road, but the ocean waves drown out the traffic noise. Each room faces the ocean with a balcony to enjoy views. Beach loungers are a perfect place to spend your day. Talalla beach is a special place, not overdeveloped. Great mix of locals and tourists. The far right side of the beach has calm water for swimming. Thomas is not only a welcoming host, he is an excellent cook. Do not miss enjoying his delightful dinners. We only stayed 1 night, and wish we had stayed far longer.

We had a pleasant stay at Thusara, Rohan and his family are so hospitable, nice little house with spacious rooms and delicious breakfast. The guest house is super clean and the family always make sure to help you and provide you with tips, information about transport and more. We highly recommend staying at Thusara. Location is great, a bit away from the beach busy life but so close to everything at the same time. Loads of restaurants, bars and cafe around. Thank you Rohana and Inoka :)

I was grateful that not only the workers but also the owner was very kind. If you need anything, they will kindly take care of it. Mirissa Beach is a 10-minute walk away, and there is a supermarket and pharmacy about a 5-minute walk away. There are also many good restaurants within a 15-minute walk. If I come back to Mirissa, I will come here again.

Offering a spa and wellness centre, Peacock Villa is located just 600 metres from the famous Whale Watching Mirissa. Free WiFi access is available. Very nice hotel located in a quiet area, 10 minutes walk from the beach and the center. The room is spacious, clean, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom and has everything you need. Breakfast is very good and varied. However, the person who makes the stay there special is the owner, who is very kind and helpful. He recommended where to eat, how to get to different places, as well as agreed to early check-in and late check-out, for which we are very grateful. The price of the room is a bit higher compared to other accommodations we have used, but it is very visible in the standard and worth the price. We highly recommend it!

It was so nice waking up and enjoying the views with a yummy breakfast. Short distance from town. Can hire tuk tuk or rent a bike from here.

I felt so comfortable and at peace at Tinara. My room (double room with balcony) was spacious, with comfortable bed, a table, fridge, well working a/c and fan, strong wifi and FANTASTIC jungle view from the balcony, I absolutely loved it. Tinara is further from the busy street, so there is no traffic noise. It takes 5-10 mins walk to the beach, depends how fast you go. There are little shops nearby to stock up on water, juices, fruits etc. Babi takes extremely good care of her guests. She makes awesome breakfasts (fresh coconus pankaces, omellete, dhal, toasts with jam, fresh mango smootie... I could not eat it all, the breakfasts were huge). I asked her one evening for rice and curry, and she was kind to make it as well, all for good prices. I would absolutely come back and recommend to my friends. Prior to coming to Tinara I spent two nights on beachfront, the place was not very clean and with many flaws (unfunctional a/c etc.)... coming afterwards to Tinara was SUCH a relief, I felt so greateful for finding such a lovely place. 10/10 in all aspects.
