Set right on the beach, Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa offers beach front rooms, a year-round children's pool, relaxation pool and outdoor lap pool. Our stay at the hotel was exceptional. The staff were wonderful and friendly, always greeting us with a smile. My partner has a gluten allergy, and the head chefs personally attended to us, going through all the buffet items she could have. They even made fresh gluten-free versions of items she could not have upon request. The buffet variety was outstanding, and the food was very tasty. Our room was very clean, modern, and had an amazing view, with daily cleaning and tidying. We were assigned a staff member at check-in who checked in with us through WhatsApp every day to see if we needed anything, adding a personalized touch to our stay. On the last day, we were even given a gluten free cake as a treat.

Set in Talalla South, 46 km from Galle, Talalla Bay Beach features a restaurant and free WiFi. Free private parking is available on site. Some rooms have views of the sea or city. The beach is quiet and lovely, our room was clean and had great views. There's a nice outdoor pool. What makes this place extra special is the host Thomas and the two young men who work with him. They are super friendly and attentive but always professional and never intrusive or over-familiar. Apart from a lovely breakfast the hotel does not serve food but Thomas cooked for us several times (on the house) and his cooking was exceptionally good. No fridges in the rooms, but guests can keep their own drinks in communal fridge and help themselves any time to free supply of chilled bottled water, tea and coffee from lobby.

I was grateful that not only the workers but also the owner was very kind. If you need anything, they will kindly take care of it. Mirissa Beach is a 10-minute walk away, and there is a supermarket and pharmacy about a 5-minute walk away. There are also many good restaurants within a 15-minute walk. If I come back to Mirissa, I will come here again.

Love the concept of 4 villas with 3 rooms in each. This is a great boutique stay for couples and families. Staff knew every visitor and provided great recommendations, for activities and food, even though the breakfast and dinner we had at the hotel was the best food. Special shout out to Kenny at the front of desk; no request was too big for him. Located a short tuk tuk ride from mirissa beach and Welegama ( surfing) - we will be returning to this hotel on our next trip to Sri Lanka. 5 start hotel, 5 star service, 5 start food ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
