From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the calm and serene atmosphere. The surroundings were beautifully maintained, and the peaceful ambiance made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to promote rest and relaxation. I especially appreciated the soft lighting, cozy bedding, and soundproof environment — it truly felt like a retreat. Whether I was enjoying a cup of tea on the balcony or unwinding in the lounge area, every moment felt calm and rejuvenating. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always respectful of the peaceful environment. It's clear that the hotel prioritizes the comfort and tranquility of its guests. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing place to recharge, this hotel is the perfect choice. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone in need of some well-deserved rest.

Splendid lake view safari lodge có khu vườn, phòng chờ chung, sân hiên và nhà hàng ở Udawalawe. Charming place and owners. The lake offers a lovely vista and ambience. The owners themselves were very attentive without becoming overbearing. They let us use the canoe, showed us how to collect fishing nets from the lake and made one of the best meals we had during our trip. We also booked a safari with the owner, that we can definitely recommend. He was very respectful of the animals and kept away from larger crowds. Overall a great experience.

Offering a barbecue and views of the garden, green view safari resort is located 8 km from Udawalawe National Park. Amazing bungalows, very clean and the staff were so welcoming. The best part: the safari!!

The place is totally lovey, nicely decorated, well maintained, spacious rooms, the shower is just supercool. The place is at a nice quiet area but close to everything. We had some difficulty on our way and arrived after check-in hours. We managed to call the owner and he was soo helpful, they even put aside a superb dinner even we arrived after the the kitchen was closed. The staff and the manager were also very friendly and helpful. We would certainly will come back to this place when around. Totally recommended. We went on a safari arranged by the hotel, the pricing was good and the cars were in great condition. We went on 3 hours and that was good for us. (tip: ask a car with armholders at the seats - we happened to have one and just realized how comfy it comes at bumpy roads in the park :)) Wish we could stay longer.

The room was clean and spacious, exactly as it is in the photos with a beautiful garden. We even saw a monitor lizard close to us which was epic! Upul is a very nice host, very knowledgeable and welcomed us with a delicious drink! We highly recommend it!

This was the most unique stay ever! The treehouse is amazing! Sitting on the balcony watching the birds was so relaxing. The staff are so friendly and helpful, arranging us our safari and onward taxi. The Sri Lankan curry and breakfast were the best we had!

Steps from Udawalawe National Park, Kottawatta Village offers a peaceful and scenic getaway from the city and night camping. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. It was really nice stay! We stayed one night in the cottage and second night in the tent. We really enjoyed it! Restaurant staff were super nice and friendly! We also did safari tour with Santha - he was amazing driver and the best guide. He has really good eyes so we were lucky and saw lots of animals. Thank u! Simona and Lenka

Spread across 5 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, Kalu’s Hideaway Udawalawe is a perfect spot for a relaxed family getaway. We had a wonderful stay at Kalus Hideaway Udawalawe. The food was delicious, and the staff were exceptionally well-trained, attentive, and friendly. The rooms, while slightly dated, were spacious, functional, and well-equipped. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens, especially the butterfly garden, which was a delight to explore. The on-site restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, and our excursion to Udawalawe National Park was a highlight of the trip. Overall, a relaxing and memorable experience — highly recommended.
