Located in Udawalawe, NATURE HOUSE offers rustic accommodation with free WiFi access available at all areas. Rooms are comfortable, clean and fitted with a spacious private terrace. We loved our stay here, the room is very comfortable and the balcony overlooking the trees was a nice place to relax. The kids enjoyed the warm pool. We also took the safari from the hotel and it was a very nice experience. The host is very welcoming and attentive to details. We had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka here and the buffet dinner is very very good.

The owner built a pontoon on the lake and you can have dinner there. It is very nice and quiet. The lady cooked very good beakfast and dinner and her husband drives a safary jeep so we had a full day safari in Udawalawe National Park. Amazing experience!!! Go there!

The staff went above and beyond—from arranging a private safari tour with a knowledgeable guide to preparing delicious home-cooked meals using fresh local ingredients. They even took extra care to cater to our kids, making the whole experience family-friendly and stress-free. The resort also helped us book a safari into the national park, which was an absolute highlight. We spotted elephants, buffalo, and numerous bird species—all in their natural habitat. Whether you’re looking to explore wildlife or just relax in a natural, eco-friendly environment, Nature Lovers Family Resort is the perfect choice. We had a very nice stay at this tree house. The owners were kind and welcoming, and they prepared good food for us. The house was clean, comfortable, and gave us a real chance to experience nature—we enjoyed watching animals from the balcony. They also organized a well-arranged safari with Janith, which was a great experience. We saw a lot of wildlife. Janith was an excellent driver and guide—he was very skilled at spotting animals and made sure we had the best possible sightings.

Steps from Udawalawe National Park, Kottawatta Village offers a peaceful and scenic getaway from the city and night camping. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. I even left my headphones in the room and the staff found them and organised a taxi to come and drop them off for me. Classy stuff. The room and location were lovely, super clean and we loved the pool. Breakfast and dinner were decent and everything was done with a smile. Highly recommend and the price is great!

Spread across 5 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, Kalu’s Hideaway Udawalawe is a perfect spot for a relaxed family getaway. We had a wonderful stay at Kalus Hideaway Udawalawe. The food was delicious, and the staff were exceptionally well-trained, attentive, and friendly. The rooms, while slightly dated, were spacious, functional, and well-equipped. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens, especially the butterfly garden, which was a delight to explore. The on-site restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, and our excursion to Udawalawe National Park was a highlight of the trip. Overall, a relaxing and memorable experience — highly recommended.
