When arrived, we stayed two hours looking at all the animals and the birds by the lake, the sunset was beautiful. The little cabanas are so cute and nothing was missing. Finally, the whole family is so welcoming, we really enjoyed the dinner and the time spent with them.

Everything was perfect. The location is just amazing, next to rice fields and impressive landscape. The family is super nice and welcoming, especially Adi treated us super well! His father is an artist that has decorated all the hotel and that also works the rice fields. They packed us the breakfast early in the morning when we had to leave for the safari, even if we have not arranged it with them. They gave us a delicious welcoming juice and a lot of fresh fruit during our stay. The room was very big, clean and comfortable. There was also place to park our tuktuk in the yard. We spend an extranight there because it was the best homestay we had been to in Sri Lanka! You can also take bikes for free to go and see the fruit bats at dawn. Dinners were delicious and non spicy!!! At last we found non spicy food in Sri Lanka! And everything for an unbeatable price.

We loved the facility, how the houses were arranged, the beautiful pool and the restaurant. The stuff was super friendly and helpful. The morning and evening safari that we booked through the hotel was an amazing experience. The driver was super engaged and helped us to have the best safari experience possible. We went to two different park entrances.

Guests can relax on the terrace. Fantastic location, staff, and pool with a view. Sleep to the sound of crickets at night and birds in the morning. The food was amazing. They recommended the local specials, which we relished. Sweet potato fries were amazing. Special thanks to Gumbit(I hope we got his name right). He took good care of us, organized our yala safari, and checked on us often with a warm smile. Our trip would be incomplete without the warm smiles of the staff at gaga bees. We highly recommend this stay

It’s a magical place and the family are very nice and helpful. The food also was very tasty and homemade. Everything was perfect
