The owners and their family were so incredibly welcoming (including their two lovely dogs). We had an amazing stay - the location is absolutely idyllic - surrounded by nature with beautiful views of the lake. The tree house / cabana was lovely and roomy and spotless - you do share it with the wildlife but the geckos are incredibly cute (we loved watching their antics at night) and there are mosquito nets for the beds. We went on a safari and the family came along which was lovely (they bought us all plenty of snacks to munch on too) - we saw all sorts of amazing species and were even lucky enough to see a leopard. We really fell in love with the place and the people - can't recommend enough!

We stayed only one night, but the place was so lovely that we would loved to stay more!! We had booked a safari, so we had to wake up 4am , and our host already had made breakfast for us to take with on Safari ride! He packed everything like your mom would, and that was such a nice surprise! The evening we arrived he offered two bikes for us to take a ride to a local restaurant and that also was just an amazing experience to ride a bike throught rice paddies and next to a huge like down to local streets! You wont regret staying here cause they really have a good service policy! BTW , this stay has a hot water!! Thats a huge pluss in Sri Lanka !

The host is a great person. I was scammed during a safari and when I came to V Cabanas the day after, the host and his friend figured out how I was scammed (I was taken for a "safari" out of the official Yala Park). They offered to take me to the police and they did all the communications for me. He and his friend treated me like I never was before in all my travels. If you need to feel in safe hands and that you will find help when needed, come here. The accomodation it self is excellent. Super clean room and bed sheets, with new modern bathroom. I have only positives to say about the hosts and the room it self!

Atmosphere in reality is even better than in the pictures!😍 It’s my favorite hotel in Sri Lanka so far. The rooms are clean, and the style of the hotel is really elegant. We stayed here to do the Yala safari tour, which meant we had to wake up early at 4:30 am. They prepared a takeaway breakfast for us—it was so thoughtful and well prepared. Thanks again for that! They also allowed us to check out later because of the safari tour. No other words!🫶🏻🫶🏻

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect – from the spotless rooms and excellent facilities to the friendly and attentive staff who made me feel truly welcome. The atmosphere was relaxing, the service was outstanding, and every detail exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-quality experience.

Yala River Face Inn có hồ bơi ngoài trời, khu vườn, phòng chờ chung và sân hiên ở Tissamaharama. Ngoài bàn bán tour, chỗ nghỉ này còn có nhà hàng và sân chơi trẻ em. Beautiful scenery might be found beside the river. For the brief time we were there, the staff was incredibly engaging, kind, and supportive, and it felt like home. We both had a great time and will return.

My favorite hotel in sri lanka! You are literally in the national park. The hotel has great breakfast ( dont miss the hoppers) , the rooms are comfortable and its overall a great experience

I had a very good time there. Really nice people! The dormroom is at the river and it's very close to nature. I booked the safari at Yala via the host and it was a well organised and exciting safari.
