Housed in a Chinese courtyard-style mansion, The Blue Mansion offers boutique accommodation tastefully furnished with antique fittings. Featuring a library and free parking, it is located within Georgetown’s UNESCO district. Breakfast was phenomenal. Toured the hotel and loved learning its history. Staff know you and are ready to help in any way. Plenty to see as soon as you walk out the door but also a pleasure to spend time in the room.

Situated in George Town, 1.4 km from Northam Beach, Eastern & Oriental Hotel features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, room service and a 24-hour front desk, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation offers a concierge service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. We had a room in the heritage wing and it was huge. The bathroom is almost as big as some rooms in inner city hotels in e.g., Tokyo. The seating area with the sofa was great for relaxing in the evening. I also liked that we had plenty of water (and other minibar items) everyday, including a newspaper. The breakfast at Sarkies was great; we especially liked the Omelette and Roti station, and also the Kue Talam. Lastly, we mostly stayed at the Heritage Wing pool, which is very scenic, with the ocean on one side and the historic building on the other.

You can relax in the poolside sun loungers or stay under the shade in the cabanas. Friendly staff at the 24-hour front desk are happy give you tips on things to do around the area. Bike hire and airport transfers are available upon request, at an additional charge. The style of the outside of the Hotel was welcoming. On entering, it had a clean stylish interior. Very tastefully decorated and sympathetically decorated to the style of the colonial period. The whole place had a beautiful dreamy atmosphere about it. The Staff in every area of the hotel delivered Outstanding Customer Service. They were helpful and eager to help without being overbearing . The outside eating area remained me of being by the pool area, with three or four areas where you could draw the beautiful coordinating curtains for privacy. I did not use the swimming pool myself, but was told the temperature was just right. The breakfast offer was just right to set you up for the day because all around were great places for you to eat other things you might like.

Attentive friendly staff with good suggestions about what to see in Penang. Very clean. Great breakfast. I would certainly advise friends to stay there

The property is just a 10-minute walk from Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, Penang Museum and the large Chinese clan house of Khoo Kongsi. Penang International Airport is a convenient 30-minute drive away. Private but conveniently located. Clean and well-maintained. Staff were excellent: Friendly, personal and helpful.

Situated within the UNESCO World Heritage city of Georgetown, Coffee Atelier is a collection of 5 beautifully-restored shophouses dating back to 1927. Featuring spacious suites with free Wi-Fi, it an art gallery and its own coffee museum. We had an amazing room on the ground floor. The room was very big and had shower and restroom in the garden only for us. Air conditioning and fan were working properly and great for the town heat. Ruby was super nice, talkative and responsive. She helped us arranging an heritage tour of the town with an English speaking guide, Mr Yeap. The walk was around 4 hours , pretty intensive and interesting. We had breakfast too with eggs and fruits but you could choose having something else. We tried also Christophs restaurant twice and it was a delicious experience. Do not miss the cheap beer place just around the corner. It is called cheap beers on Maps and it is full of local and tourists. Cheap cheap beer starting from 6RM

Campbell House is conveniently located a 5-minute drive from Penang Museum and is surrounded by a variety of local shopping and eating options. It provides beautifully designed rooms with a seating area and free Wi-Fi. The stuff is lovely ,the place feel like back to home, the food so yuuuuuumy😋

The Millen Penang, Autograph Collection is in Georgetown, just 3 minutes' drive from the New Central Business District. It has spacious suites with free Wi-Fi. On-site facilities include an outdoor saltwater swimming pool, a fitness centre and pampering spa treatments. Such a beautiful hotel with great clean and comfortable rooms, we got the sea view facing rooms and it was an absolutely stunning view. I really enjoyed my stay here, very great location to check out the sights and sounds of georgetown!
