Hotel De Walvisvaarder lies exactly in the centre of the beautiful Dutch island Terschelling. We had a great experience in a quiet and comfortable setting at a convenient location. The dinners at the hotel restaurant were very good. They had so many bicycles and the rental service was well-organized. The hotel personnel was very friendly and kind. I would choose this hotel again on a next visit.

The WestCord Hotel Schylge is located in the village of West-Terschelling, right along the harbor. View was great. Room was very comfortable. Great shower.

Upon arriving at Pension de Wadvaarder (through the back gate), you’ll enter into a cozy living room and dinning area. Gerrit & Annemieke have a great sense of style and it shows throughout the property, including the garden. The bedroom was spacious and had a small reading room with books (in Dutch). For breakfast you are provided a checklist of items to choose from which are then freshly assembled for you in the morning. The items are excellent quality, some derived from Terschelling (cheese, cranberry compote, eggs…) - lekker! The pension is close to the village center and bus stop. Hikes on the dike, in the forrest, on the dunes, and beach are easily manageable. Of course you can also bike if you want to move around faster and farther.

Denne bungalowpark har udsigt over skoven og klitterne i West-Terschelling, 5 minutters gang fra stranden. Cosy, well laid out, new kitchen and comfortable furniture. Location is excellent, close to wonderful dune area, and great walking and biking routes. Staff is very friendly and welcoming and makes one feel at home immediately.
