The food was excellent and the rooms small but very comfortable. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Located close to Dovre National Park, Dovregubbens Hall offers apartments in traditional Gudbrands style buildings in Vålåsjø. Oppdal is 49 km away. We arrived ln the middle of the night but that was jo problem. The rooms and bathroom are modern and.very clean. Breakfast is exeelent. The hotel is situated in the most beautiful area.

Some nice historic vibes as originally the hotel is a reconstruction from real mill. Room was spacious, very cozy, heating worked absolutely fine. Comfortable bed, nice shower with good water pressure. In my room, coffee machine and kettle were provided with some coffee and tee. There was also ironing desk and iron, just in case. Decent wi-fi signal without any issue. Lovely team at the reception, very positive. I was lucky to have the room ready by arrival, although I came too early before check-in time. Luggage storage is available free of charge. Really good breakfast which is served in the same restaurant Egon which is connected to the hotel. And restaurant itself is good, too - fast service, delicious meals. Recommend to try the trout and fish soup. And juicy IPA beer :) Very convenient location, liked it a lot. In general, strongly recommended.

Situated on Lillehammer’s main street, Storgata, this hotel offers a free evening meal from 18.00 to 20.00 every day, and free WiFi internet access. We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The afternoon cakes and coffee/ hot chocolate was such a blessing for hungry children! The food in general was delicious. And the rooms were lovely and comfortable. I don’t often go back to the same place, but here I would. Highly recommend.
