The hotel has a terrace and views of the city, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Free private parking is available on site. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, the manager as well as the staff show us a lot of kindness and were all the time attentive to our needs. The facilities are very nice and clean, which make it easy to have a nice resting.

Rooms have a flat-screen TV. Some rooms include a seating area to relax in after a busy day. A terrace or balcony are featured in certain rooms. The rooms have a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find bath robes, slippers and free toiletries. Amazing customer service. This hotel is perfect example of what a genuine Nepalese Hospitality should look like. Nepalese people are the best people in world....very kind and helpful. I highly recommend trying the Nepalese dishes in hotel restaurant....amazing taste..little spicy but you will get used to the deliciousness.

The lodge is juste super. a piece of art and history. staff is really helpful and nice. we are really lucky to stay there for 2 nights !

The property is extremely clean, well decorated and is a reflection of the culture and architecture of Nepal. The hotel is very large and spacious. Guests can walk within the property and enjoy the green spaces within.

Nestled within beautifully landscaped grounds, Shambaling Hotel is a charming refurbished house from the 70s. The Tibetan-style house has 64 cosy bedrooms, an in house restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. Wi-Fi is free in its public areas. We had great stay. Rooms specious, location is perfect, only 8 minutes to Stupa. Quite neighborhood. Hotel and rooms very clean. Breakfast delicious and service during breakfast 5 star.

Located within 4.4 km of Hanuman Dhoka and 5 km of Kathmandu Durbar Square, The Museum provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kathmandu. My wife and I stayed at The Museum on the first two days of our ten-day trip to Nepal. This was our first time in Kathmandu, and staying at this place was just the great start we needed before heading towards Pokhara. The property is around 3km from Thamel, near the Office of the President of Nepal, in a quiet area. A bus service can take you to Thamel, but we preferred walking. The hotel is part of a compound with the restaurants Le Sherpa and Yakitori Hokkaido, a cafe, and other shops (wasn't interested as food is my strength!). There is also a Sikkimise restaurant outside the compound. We were happy with our room and the service the hotel provided us. In addition to that, we asked for help to book a bus ticket for Pokhara. Mr. Saroj was more than helpful and got us the ticket. Overall, it was a lovely experience.

The situation is perfect, in the heart of Thamel, but still quiet The owners and people working there are very kind, and always happy to help. We are keeping this address for next time!
