The owner Mr. Pradeep is nice and kindhearted man. First time we arrived there, he rode his bicycle to the main road and lead us to his Yamba Traditional Home so we not get lost. The hospitality more than great, no doubt. 10/10. Room really clean and yaa if you want experience the old city of Kathmandu you should stay here, aesthetic and antique one. Mr. Pradeep also help us to book bus ticket to Pokhara, told us the tourism map of Patan, and recommend us some nice places. The food they made was absolutely delicious. We will miss your Nepali's donuts. Thanks for your unforgettable hospitality. Nice to met you and nice to knew you. We will see you again Mr. Pradeep for our next trip in Nepal.

Apsara Boutique Hotel is located in Kathmandu, 1.4 km from Hanuman Dhoka and 1.5 km from Kathmandu Durbar Square. The hotel has a terrace and views of the mountains. We are a couple from Turkey and stayed at Apsara Boutique Hotel during our trip to Nepal, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, smiling and willing to help with anything we needed, from airport pickup to recommending nice restaurants. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We stayed in a higher floor room, and the view over the city and the mountains in the distance was beautiful. The location is ideal, right in Thamel but slightly off the main road, so it is peaceful and quiet at night. We could easily walk to restaurants and shops. Kathmandu was a perfect destination, and Apsara Boutique Hotel made us feel right at home. We would definitely recommend it to our friends visiting Nepal.

Nestled within beautifully landscaped grounds, Shambaling Hotel is a charming refurbished house from the 70s. Very welcoming and peaceful Tibetan Buddhist hotel. Lovely rooms, prayer flags flying, sound bowls in the room, gated entrance, prayer wheels, great indoor/outdoor cafe/restaurant, beautiful potted plants, yoga and spa including sound healing. Handy to both Bouddha Stupa and Phulbari Monastery. I easily walked to both (Stupa is closer).

Karma Boutique Hotel is set in the Thamel district in Kathmandu, 1 km from Hanuman Dhoka. Guests are offered the on-site restaurant. I had a great time in this hotel. Clean, hot shower (glass door shower!), great light in a room. I enjoyed the hotel so much that I booked it again in the end of my trip to Nepal! Hotel personnel is SUPER FRIENDLY. They helped me with my needs, booked taxi! I also enjoyed the breakfast which was included - it was filling and tasty! I strongly recommend this place!
