Loved the motel & the floor to ceiling glass in the bedroom out to the peaceful garden. The motel was very quiet despite being located just off of the main road. Lisa, at reception was awesome & brought us a portable gas weber bbq to prepare our dinner. We liked everything about this motel, free washing machine for guests + it was very convenient & close to Takaka center. We'll definitely stay here again.

There is a restaurant, café and a bar on site. Guests can explore the coastal walking tracks or go kayaking and fishing nearby. The lovely, peaceful location with all the luxury you could need, especially when the weather let you down. Staff were fantastic and extremely helpful and despite the conditions, Josh's kayaks experience was memorable. Many thanks.

The Station House Motel is located in the charming village of Collingwood, Golden Bay NZ. It was built in 1907 and was originally the Police Station. It offers two Studio Rooms with En Suite within the Historical House and two Self Contained Cottages. Amazing hotel with spacious owner. Room big with kitchen and good shower. Great restaurant right close to hotel with amazing breakfast.
