The staff provided exceptional guidance so that we could take stunning views of the mountains during sunset. Very high quality breakfast. Overall, exceeded my expectations in this rather remote/resource limited (to a city person at least) location.

Located just 2.5 km from the Palmerston North city centre, the Aspree Motor Inn is a 10-minute drive from Palmerston North Airport. It offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and free parking on site. The room was very big and comfortable, we only stayed one night waiting for our next flight

Ideally located on Whanganui’s main street, Aotea Motor Lodge offers free WiFi and free wired broadband internet access. Double spa baths are provided in every unit. What a great hotel! It looked like an average spot upon arrival but the room and desk staff were really special. And the in-room spa tub was quite a treat after driving 8 hours ! Comfortable and clean. Wish we could have stayed longer.
