Located on the shores of Lake Te Anau, Fiordland Lakeview Motel and Apartments offers self-contained accommodation with free Wi-Fi and lake and garden views. Everything. We were in the older part. There is a living room and separate bedroom. It’s huge. The biggest space we’ve had on our journey. Spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need. The easy chairs may look a bit bulky and ugly but they are really, really comfortable. And there’s a balcony as well. The view over the lake is lovely and it’s about a five minute walk into town. And the gardens are beautifully maintained

Offering lake and mountain views, Radfords on the Lake is located across the road from Lake Te Anau. Free car parking is provided outside each apartment. Host and owner Kerri was very welcoming and helpful in planning our stay in Te Anau. She made Doubtful Sound cruises reservations for us, pointed out great sites and hikes on the way to Milford Sound, and recommended great restaurants. Rooms very clean and are well appointed for road trip travelers including a laundry for guests to use to freshen things up. Location was convenient to walk to town center to groceries, restaurants and shopping.
