Tudor Motel is within a 10-minute drive of both Hawera Golf Club and Te Ngutu Golf Club. New Plymouth and Mount Taranaki are a 50-minute drive away. The motel is a 1-hour drive from Wanganui. Our accommodation was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The location was quiet and the owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a small issue with one of our motorcycles and Mr Diederik lent us some tools to fix it (it worked!)

Guests at the hotel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Stratford, like hiking. Cannot beat the location. In a cosy warm room on the mountain. Appreciated the electric blankets, the large bathroom, and having a fridge. Amazing access to forest tracks and saw it snowing in the evening and the morning! Dinner and breakfast were both delicious! Very romantic!

Menu options include smoked salmon, pasta dishes and local seafood. I was very surprised given the price. The room was very nice, the restaurant was great and so was the location. If I’m in the area again I’ll definitely be staying here.
