A good location for a relaxing holiday in Las Lajas, Residence Las Lajas is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the mountain. The property features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and parking on-site among other facilities. This bed and breakfast features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. This 4-star bed and breakfast offers private entrance. You can tell that the property owners put their heart and soul into these facilities. The room was very intentionally styled down to every little detail and a very fun vibe! The property and gardens were beautiful and extremely well kept and the room was very clean. The property owner went out of their way to accommodate us with a late arrival and was very kind. I didn’t use the pool but they looked lovely. We also had a sweet neighbourhood kitty visit us which I loved.

Marcelo was so helpful during our stay and is an all around great guy! The Palo Alto is extremely lucky to have him. The hotel has impeccably beautiful gardens and is quite serene with the sound of birds. Our room had an amazing view of Volcan Baru and we enjoyed watching as the light and weather changed up at the top. The outdoor bar provides a full lovely breakfast with friendly service and views of the river. In the evening the bar is quite romantic with a fireplace to keep you warm. We enjoyed having a drink at sunset (with Marcelo bartending) and then relaxing in the hot tub after a half day of hiking. The hotel far exceeded our expectations!

They come equipped with a wardrobe, dressing room and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Super relaxed environment with beautiful nature around. The staff was very nice and forthcoming. Rooms were clean and had A/C. The hotel has access to a nice little bay with a Tiki Bar on Saturdays and a swimming platform to relax and read on. Area is very quiet and except for fishing nothing much to do around there. Would absolutely go there again.

I loved the location, everything is at walking distance. The owners and staff are so nice and friendly. It is a beautiful, homey place to stay! I loved it! The best part is that I was able to experience my stay with my baby-dog Blue, my mom and best friend Kathya. You will be seeing us again and hopefully soon.
