The location is great and the staff gave us all the information we needed to continue our travels. We were also able to dine the very good breakfast on a balcony with a city view.

Guests can relax in the garden or in the central courtyard with a stone fountain. Wi-Fi is free. Staff were exceptionally friendly. They kindly offered to hold our bags when we were off doing Colca Canyon hike and even upgraded our room free of charge. The Hotel itself is a gorgeous building with beautiful gardens. Everything was very clean and the breakfasts were delicious. On the morning we left for our hike at 3am the staff had to go breakfast bags prepared to keep us going also.

Breakfast was good and the staff were attentive and kind.

Rooms at Hostal Solar de Arequipa are decorated in lively colours. They feature balconies and large windows, making them very bright during the whole daylight. The room was big and comfortable with space to store my things. The hostal had a balcony with a great view of the mountains and volcanoes where breakfast is served. We were also allowed to eat our own food here. The location is relatively close to the plaza and is close to cafeterias and mini markets.
