The Antigua Casona San Blas is a family-owned and operated boutique hotel in the historic center of Cusco with 50 rooms. I really love everything, just an awesome place to stay.

Offering rooms with impeccable rustic style décor and garden views, this inn just 30 km off Machu Picchu, features red-tiled terraced Spanish galleries and views of the surrounding scenery. The location is the best thing. Being inside the train station I didn’t have problems and it was very convenient. The restaurant is nice as the breakfast and the place is very tranquil and quiet.

Hosteria de Anita is a lively family-run guest house in the artistic San Blass District, central Cuzco. We spent 4 lovely nights at Hosteria, the staff was very kind and was able to assist with all our requests. Located very close to the central Plaza de Armas, it is convenient and quiet. There is a nice garden too where we spent a few nice evenings. Heating is provided. Breakfast was fulfilling.

In Cusco´s San Blas art district, Amaru Inca is set in a colonial house with internal patio and garden, featuring scenic views. Lovely hosts. Nice facilities given the price

As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe—the hotel has a calm atmosphere and secure entry, and the area is peaceful yet close to key attractions like Qorikancha and Cusco’s main square.

From all the hotels on our 2 week travel through Peru, this was the best one: nice room, perfect bed, great location, excellent breakfast, super value for your money. But above all, it was the staff that made our stay, they were all, from housekeeping to the cook, super friendly.
