We stayed here for 4 nights. The host, Alex, is amazing and very friendly! Takes time to interact with his guests and guide them about the things to do around town. The hotel is beautiful! Great escape from the hustle and bustle of Cusco. It has a lovely garden and terrace, surrounded with a view of the sacred valley mountains. Breakfast was standard every day and delicious. There’s also unlimited supply of coca leaves. Rooms were well equipped and very comfy! Location wise it’s 10 mins walk from the centre.

Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu. Food is absolutely delicious, with great selections. Spa was oasis of comfort The concierge was extremely helpful and patient, helped me to book train tickets and local transport. Their resturant opens 5:30am so we could take a bit or grab some take-away before we boarded the train for Machu Pichhu, which itself was a great comfort. Staff is genuinely warm and welcoming!

The rooms, breakfast and owners are wonderful. They let us park our motorcycles here while we went to Machu Picchu. Gladys picked herbs to make us some herbal tea when we weren’t feeling well. They have laundry service. They are helpful when it comes to tours or anything you may need. This is a great find
