Vila Nova Milfontes is a lovely little seaside town and we’re glad we found this wonderful B&B which is just a few steps away from cafes, shops and restaurants. Room is simple and great value for money. Parking is free and easy, just outside the B&B. The beach is about 10mins walk away and the lighthouse (great place for sunset) another 15mins.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Franquia Beach is 300 metres away. This place is spacious and close to the seaside. Through the rooftop window, you can enjoy a view of the coast and the river estuary. All the facilities are very clean. One possible downside is the lack of a kitchenette, as only tea and coffee can be prepared. However, considering the location and price, I still find it to be a great value. The host was excellent—he provided clear instructions, introduced us to the surrounding area, and gave great recommendations on places to visit.

Five of the rooms have a balcony where you can enjoy the view. All rooms are en-suite, with free toiletries, a hairdryer and towels. The property is decorated in a minimalist and relaxed style, combining Scandinavian and Mediterranean inspirations. Great location and wonderful facilities. Pedro and Rita were fantastic hosts. Felt just like home but better.

Each unit includes free WiFi. Very welcoming host, Nuno. Lovely room. Very comfortable. Coffee facilities in room. Picturesque quiet surroundings. Breakfast excellent. Varied continental breakfast with fresh apple juice, croissants, bread, preserves, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, ham, cheese, homemade delicious cake, option of scrambled eggs ( own hens). Vineyard with great wines very close. Nuno recommended a good restaurant nearby which we enjoyed.

Situated 3.5 km from Pessegueiro Island, Monte do Cerro offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as pool with a view and a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Very calm, clean and close to Porto Covo. The staff was incredible. Reasonable breakfast.

A baby safety gate is also available at the farm stay, while guests can also relax in the garden. Absolutely loved everthing, starting with the warm reception by our host, the gift of wine and cheese as well as the warm bread and fresh berries that were presented at morning coffee time. The accommodation was exceptional, an oasis in farmland. Clean,spacious all the comfort of home and more! Beautiful garden area and two patios that offer sunshine and privacy all day. Although we did not have time to bask by the swimming pool here...I hope to experience this accommodation again .I would highly recommend Kuanza .
