Located in Horta, Monte da Guia offers beachfront accommodation 1.8 km from Praia de Porto Pim and provides various facilities, such as barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. The property has sea views, and is 2.4 km from Praia da Conceição. The guest house features family rooms. Everything - spacious room, huge luxurious bed, bathtub, laundry with washers and dryers, two full kitchens with induction cooktops, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves, coffee machines, refrigerators/freezers, great cookware, wine glasses, utensils - everything one needed to prepare and enjoy a relaxing meal. Then there was the view from the dining/lounge room overlooking the bay with Monte de Guia and Ilha do Pico in the background. Each morning we relaxed on the balcony as we had our coffee and listened to the surf gently rolling in. This was all highlighted by the friendly and attentive staff which were there during the daytime hours. Location was perfect with a short walk to the middle of town and the marina. Free street parking (residential area) was available right at the front door. Never an issue.

Location was perfect for the hot springs in Furnas, with lots of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, and easy road access to the rest of the island by car. The breakfast was simple, but very fresh and well presented. The kitchen area in the Pod provided easy cooking the days we didn't feel like eating out, and had coffee pod machine.

Breakfast was fresh, homemade, and truly delightful. One of the best parts is the kitchen, available to guests 24/7, which adds a great touch of convenience. Plus, having private parking was a huge bonus. Overall, an amazing experience—I highly recommend this guesthouse!
