It was perfect for a solo travellor. Almost like an AirBNB as I had a code to enter and could come and go. There is no reception but the management were available through the phone and were quick to respond. I loved that it was close to the Basilica, and close to the Vía Sacra. And the balcony looked out over beautiful green trees.

Wonderful Breakfast Basket delivered to the cottage each morning (freshly baked bread & croissants, ham & cheese, jam & butter, fruit, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, milk, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.). The swimming pool and lapa area is straight out of a magazine! The entire quinta is quiet and well maintained. The manageress, Lita, is wonderful and provides the most amazing service (from restaurant suggestions to explaining everything)

An amazing countryside location with wonderful cabins overlooking a small lake and maddows. So quite and peaceful, and with a very high level of hospitality. Great breakfast, kind hosts, hiking options and a farm where you can feed the animals. It was a short and amazing stay and we're already looking forward to coming back.
