We traveled to Mahe for a 2-week relaxed vacation with my husband and his mother who flew in separately. Although our trip didn't start as planned and two of us ended up arriving one day later, the staff of Takamaka Green Village helped us out A LOT meeting my mother-in-law who arrived on time. We were really worried, since she is 76 years old and doesn't speak any English, but Simone made sure that everything went smoothly. After we have arrived, we met her and other members of staff who have become almost like a second family to us after these two weeks 😍 This is such an amazing place to stay, it has left such a warm feeling in our hearts! Rooms and facilities are very comfortable and spotlessly clean, the area is green and peaceful, a great beach is only 5 min by foot away, the food in the restaurant is fantastic (Abdul is an excellent cook!). But the main treasure is kind and open-hearted people working there, we already miss them. We are so grateful for everything and will absolutely be back!

Each air-conditioned villa has a private pool and a patio. It comes equipped with a satellite TV, minibar and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. The bathroom includes a shower with free toiletries, a bathrobe and slippers. It is a little bit costly, but if you forget about the money, everything else is great! We had a flight early in the morning, but they provided early check-in and late check-out without additional cost, which was very nice!

Guests can enjoy snorkeling to discover the rich sea life in the area. Our apartment was beautiful and we loved our quiet but also convenient location. It was walking distance from Anse Forbans beach and Double Tree Hilton hotel. The hotel restaurant is open late until 10 pm and our daughter was able to use their gym for a small fee. WiFi was excellent and we especially liked our big bathroom with an excellent shower!

The refreshing welcome popsicle was the perfect touch after our journey, and the stunning view from the lobby instantly reminded us why we chose Avani+ It felt like a home away from home, with each night offering a new layer of paradise. The unlimited breakfast buffet was a standout, with a wide variety of fresh fruits and delicious options, all enjoyed with a beautiful view. The rooms were spotless with crisp, clean sheets, and every staff interaction was warm, friendly, and helpful. The concierge and entire team greeted us with smiles and were always eager to assist. Everyone was so consistently amazing that it’s impossible to single out just one person. Although I didn’t get a chance to explore the spa and gym facilities, I was impressed by how well-equipped and inviting they looked definitely something to look forward to next time. I absolutely plan to return and would recommend Avani+ without hesitation. Keep up the fantastic work!
