Takamaka Green Village is located in the south of Mahe and 8 minutes' walk from the beach at Anse Takamaka. It offers a spacious garden and free on site parking. We traveled to Mahe for a 2-week relaxed vacation with my husband and his mother who flew in separately. Although our trip didn't start as planned and two of us ended up arriving one day later, the staff of Takamaka Green Village helped us out A LOT meeting my mother-in-law who arrived on time. We were really worried, since she is 76 years old and doesn't speak any English, but Simone made sure that everything went smoothly. After we have arrived, we met her and other members of staff who have become almost like a second family to us after these two weeks 😍 This is such an amazing place to stay, it has left such a warm feeling in our hearts! Rooms and facilities are very comfortable and spotlessly clean, the area is green and peaceful, a great beach is only 5 min by foot away, the food in the restaurant is fantastic (Abdul is an excellent cook!). But the main treasure is kind and open-hearted people working there, we already miss them. We are so grateful for everything and will absolutely be back!

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles is situated less than 5 metres from the beach located on Petite Anse, Baie Lazare. It features a spa, fitness centre, swimming pool and a water sports pavilion. Everything! it’s and incredible resort.

Captain’s Villa is situated just 40 metres from Anse Forbans beach on the Southeast coast of Mahe, between Anse Royale and Takamaka. Absolutely wonderful place, I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a peaceful and pleasant holiday. We had a room with terrace, very cozy, clean and comfortable, spacious bathroom. Great breakfast, local fruits are fantastic! Wonderful beach across the street, very nice local restaurant with delicious pan fried fish and coconut ice-cream, just a few steps from the Villa. There is also a small store with drinks nearby. At the Villa no mosquitos, but you can encounter them at the beach, so be prepared. We have seen a giant turtle in the neighbourhood! Cristine and Flo are extremely friendly and helpful, thank you so much for making our stay unforgettable!

After a polished stay at Constance Mahé, we traded turndown service for tropical independence with six nights at Villas de Jardin in Port Glaud—and we weren’t disappointed. Nestled in lush hills with sweeping views of the bay, our Villa #1 served as a peaceful, private retreat with just the right balance of comfort and autonomy. The villa is spacious and well-equipped for self-catering, though you'll want to plan grocery runs wisely—this isn’t exactly next door to a Carrefour. Still, once stocked, the kitchen handles everything from morning eggs to sunset apéros. And speaking of sunsets: the view from our terrace was easily worth a few minor logistical compromises. The pool is small but elegant—ideal for a refreshing dip after a beach outing or simply lounging with a book in hand. No crowds, no noise, no competing for sunbeds: a rare Seychelles luxury in itself. While it doesn’t compete with a 5-star hotel on service or dining, that’s not the point. Villas de Jardin offers something rarer: space, peace, and the feeling of actually living in paradise for a while—not just visiting it. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone who appreciates independence with a view.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive, making us feel right at home. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The amenities were top-notch, including pool, spa, gym, or restaurant and everything was well-maintained. The location was perfect, close to attractions, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. Breakfast was a highlight of our stay, with a wide selection of fresh and delicious options. Overall, the service exceeded our expectations in every way. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay.
