Varberg Fortress is 3.2 km away. very nice location, just by the beach . 2 families that booked together and 1 of us had a dog so it worked out perfectly

This B&B is located in a historical fortress in Varberg. The accommodation is set in what once was a bakery, hospital and prison. The fortress faces the North Sea and the property features both regular rooms and converted cell rooms. Unique and stunning location by the beach, highly recommended!

Start each morning with a daily breakfast. Return again in the evening to enjoy the seasonal dinner menu from 18:00. Drinks can be enjoyed in the bar. In the summer you can enjoy your drinks on the beach with your toes in the sand. What a superb hotel. We used it en-route from Norway to the UK. Situated right on the seafront, lovely and quiet and easy to get to from the motorway. The room was huge... I could have parked my car in it and still have had room to spare :-) The restaurant served delicious local food at very reasonable prices all served by a very friendly barman/waiter/receptionist. Breakfast also had an excellent selection. All this at an amazingly low price!
