Owner are very friendly, place in real nature, outside wood sauna, inside your house electric sauna, condition works well, fully equiped kitchen with all neccessary tools to cook your favorite meal

This family-owned hotel is centrally located in the coastal town of Västervik, only 150 metres from the Västervik train station. It offers free Wi-Fi access. I usually don’t write reviews, but I loved this hotel so much I feel they deserve special recognition. Older hotels can often be a little shabby despite renovations, but this place has both cosy, old world charm while achieving standards for cleanliness, upkeep, and comfort equal to the best hotels. Being a short and easy walk to the bus and train station as well as the city center, it was in a perfect location. Staff at the desk were welcoming, helpful, and efficient, and without my asking, helped me carry my luggage up the stairs since there is no elevator. My room was nicely proportioned, quiet, and very cosy. Breakfast was great. There is also a nice little lounge in the reception area with tea and coffee for fika alone or with others. (And for a delicious fika treat, check out Bageri 96° on Stora Torget!) I only wish I could have stayed here more than one night!

This eco-friendly hotel, about 400 metres from Västervik Central Station, is located on the waterfront. We really found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and helpful and most especially Isabella and Helena. They were both wonderful and made our stay even better.

Situated among 18th and 19th century villas in a park setting, this charming hotel is 3 minutes’ walk from Kalmar Castle. Free WiFi is available. The hotel is charming. Decorated so cute, but also was clean with helpful staff. Adorable restaurant on site. Bikes you can use to ride around the pretty downtown. Walking distance to the castle and beach.

Housed in an old harbour warehouse, the Home Hotel Packhuset boasts spectacular views of the Kalmar Sound and the Öland Bridge. Some rooms feature exposed wooden beams, timber walls and free WiFi. Our stay included a buffet dinner, which was surprisingly good. Breakfast was good too. Convenient location to see the castle, cathedral, and old town. Room was nice. Elevator was helpful.

Situated by the sea, offering views of the archipelago and Blå Jungfrun National Park, is Best Western Hotel Corallen. It offers rooms with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi. Had a great one-night stay at this hotel! The staff was kind, the view was stunning, and the room was comfortable. The restaurant was excellent too, with delicious food and friendly service. Highly recommend! Can't wait to return!
